About this song
All eight parts of speech in one West Coast boom-bap track for grades 6-9. Verse 1 covers nouns (proper, collective, abstract) and pronouns (reflexive, relative, indefinite). Verse 2 covers verbs (linking, helping, transitive, intransitive) and the three verbals: gerunds, participles and infinitives. The beat switch covers adjectives (predicate adjectives, comparatives and superlatives), adverbs and adverbial nouns, prepositional phrases, and coordinating (FANBOYS), subordinating and correlative conjunctions. The outro breaks one sentence down, word by word.
